A protest taken out by diesel taxi drivers, who have been banned from operating in Delhi by the Supreme Court, caused a five-km jam on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway on Monday morning.

Similar jams were reported from places across the National Capital Region, including the DND Flyway connecting Noida with the city and the Delhi-Faridabad border in Badarpur. However, the Noida blockade was soon cleared by police.
